Lake Simcoe Living celebrates life at Lake Simcoe and is dedicated to preserving our lake for future generations.

Lake Simcoe Living has a print magazine and a website, both published in Bradford and Barrie by Catspaw Media Inc.

Lake Simcoe Living magazine enhances the experience of residents, vacationers and visitors to our lake. Solid, well-researched and professionally written editorial presents a unique, home-grown view of the people, culture, history, events and lifestyle of this wonderful area.

The first issue of Lake Simcoe Living magazine was published in the Summer of 2008. It was started to encourage a coming together of the Lake Simcoe watershed community, which stretches from Aurora and Peel Region in the south to part of Kawartha Lakes in the north but shares a common interest — the quality of life at Lake Simcoe. And the quality of life at our lake is tied to the quality of the water, which is up to all of us.

Lakesimcoeliving.com adds to the experience with an interactive Events Calendar that is becoming the primary resource for people to find out what's happening all around the lake. Our website also includes videos from across the Lake Simcoe watershed and Business Interviews, with information about businesses around the Lake Simcoe area.

The publisher of Lake Simcoe Living magazine and the producer of lakesimcoeliving.com is Johanna Powell, who spent much of her journalism career at the Financial Post and who sails her boat on Lake Simcoe.

Cynthia Proctor, who grew up along the shores of Lake Simcoe, is the Chief Information Officer for Lakesimcoeliving.com.
