Legacy Landscapes: Celebrating 25 Years of Land Conservation

Saturday, November 10, 2018 to Sunday, March 24, 2019 - during gallery hours.

Franklin Carmichael Gallery, Orillia Museum of Art and History

An exhibition by regional landscape artists celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Couchiching Conservancy Land Trust.

Since 1993, the Couchiching Conservancy land trust has been involved with the purchase and/or management of ecologically- significant properties.

Professional artists have been invited to create original artworks to celebrate these remarkable landscapes. These insights and impressions form a dynamic exhibition of landscape interpretations.

The Orillia Museum of Art & History is open Mondays to Saturdays 10am-4pm, Sundays 1-4pm. Admission is a suggested $5 or by museum membership. Donations are appreciated to help us continue our mandate of inspiring creativity and celebrating history.

The Couchiching Conservancy is a non-profit, non-government land trust dedicated to protects nature for future generations. http://www.couchichingconserv.ca/ or 705-326-1620
