Meet Gibby, a six-year-old gentle soul who is looking for his forever home in the new year!
Gibby is staying at Pet Valu Barrie, 165 Wellington St W., so if you're in the area be sure to come in and say hello!
Gibby became a part of the Furry Friends Family along with his brother, Whiskey, after being surrendered by their owners. Whiskey was very quickly adopted, and now it’s Gibby’s time to enjoy the spotlight in hopes of making some new friends.
If you’re looking for a kind, quiet, laid-back kitty to become a part of your family, look no further than Gibby.
This grey and white sweetheart can be a little shy when you first meet him - he may squint his eyes and back away from you at first - but once he gets used to your presence and you start to pet him, Gibby quickly opens up and shows you just how much of a lovebug he can be.
Gibby loves to have his cheeks and ears rubbed, and you can pet all the way down his fluffy back as he arches up to make sure you itch just the right spots! Once he starts to purr, he doesn’t stop for a long time. He's a total ham!
Gibby will prance around your feet and shake his tail saying ‘Look at me! Pet me! Love me!’ until he gets your attention, and you just can’t ignore that adorable face when he wants some lovin’.
Gibby likes to stand with his paws on your lap on his own terms, and he’s learning that cuddling isn’t too scary... You can even pick Gibby up to move him somewhere, but he’s not accustomed to being carried around for fun just yet.
Give him time in a loving home, and Gibby is sure to become more confident!
Gibby gets along very well with other cats, and he even does great with children as long as they introduce themselves to him gently.
Gibby is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
All he needs is for you to come to Pet Valu Barrie, Wellington St., and take him home!
