Simmy and Charity came into the care of the Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre together in August and are waiting patiently for the purr-fect family to come along and adopt them.
Simmy is nine-year-old white and gray male and Charity is an 11-year-old male brown tabby. Both are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. All they need is a forever home!
These best friends spend time cuddled under a blanket together on their cat tower, but they always make time out of their busy schedule to jump down to see you. Simmy likes to circle you, rubbing up against you and giving head butts. Charity likes to flop on the ground and enjoys a good belly rub and back scratch. Charity is missing his right hind foot, but he doesn’t let him slow him down. He walks, plays and jumps just like any other cat.
These boys are super sweet and are seeking a patient adopter who will help them settle into their new home and show their personalities. They would do best in a quiet home with no small children. This Remembrance Day, join the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society as we pay tribute to Canada’s veterans and the animals who have bravely served by their side by wearing a commemorative Animals in War pin. The pin represents the sacrifice made by animals who have served, and continue to serve, alongside Canada’s veterans.
Proceeds from each sale will help provide care for animals in need, and $1 from each pin sold is donated to Royal Canadian Legion branches in our animal centre regions to support our veterans. To order your pin, visit ontariospca.ca/remember
