svenSven is a six-year-old brown tabby who is looking for his fur-ever home.

When Sven first arrived at the centre, he was a nervous cat, but with a little love and attention, he has become a true sweetheart.

He enjoys to purr, knead and be petted, and loves to rub his cheeks on his friends. Sven enjoys a calm space and prefers not to be held. His independent personality makes him better suited for a home with only adults.

Prior to coming to the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre, Sven was part of an outdoor cat colony. His caregiver worked on socializing him and quickly noted that Sven had more characteristics of a family cat and would do well living in a home. While living in the colony, Sven was neutered and ear tipped.

Sven is a healthy middle-aged animal, but may require dental care in the future. His family will need to ensure that his teeth are monitored for any changes as he ages. The staff at the Provincial Education & Animal Centre can review with potential adopters his complete health profile. Sven is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations.
