Call to Action #83 - Quest for Truth and Reconciliation
This travelling exhibition, is a creative collaboration of 16 works of art, created by eight indigenous and eight non-indigenous artists – inspired to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission‘s Call to Action #83 ” a strategy for Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists to undertake collaborative projects and produce works that contribute to the reconciliation process.” The process has resulted in a thought provoking, timely exhibition expressing a roadmap for ‘awi-niigaani-mino-wiiji-inawendiwin’ – ‘going forward together in harmony.’
Call to Action #83 Runs in Blue Gallery from Aug. 12 – Nov. 11, 2017.
