Join us on the sweetest route in Central Ontario. This self driving route is the best way to experience Canada’s greatest product; maple syrup. Experience and learn all about maple and the Canadian tradition of harvesting this sweet sap.

Located in Simcoe County and only a short drive from the GTA, Ontario’s Lake Country is the perfect place for maple trees, and celebrating all things maple. Some of our local maple syrup producers have been harvesting the sap for over 100 years. Throughout those years the producers and local businesses have been more and more creative with their products and the different uses of maple, be sure to join us this year for new events, activities and packages.

Description:
A springtime tradition! Hosted by the Rotary Club of Barrie, the Spring Tonic Maple Syrup Festival at the Tiffin Centre for Conservation is a tradition spanning for more than three decades. Each year hundreds of visitors make their way to the Tiffin Centre to enjoy pancakes and sausages with maple syrup.

Don't miss demonstrations of syrup making methods from Native and pioneer times, as well as tours of the Tiffin Centre sugar shack. Enjoy wagon rides, live music, live animals, War of 1812 re-enactors, crafts, displays and more.
