Lake Simcoe Living leaps into the blogosphere

The concept for Lake Simcoe Living magazine began about five years ago when a magazine was just that — a beautifully presented product printed on paper.

But in those five years, the magazine business has changed significantly, expanding into the online world. And magazines show every sign of continuing to change and evolve, as digital editions become available for iPads and other digital readers.

So, with eight traditional, high-quality, printed issues of Lake Simcoe Living magazine published in the past two years, it is time for us to evolve, as well. It is time for Lake Simcoe Living to offer more to Lake Simcoe's lake people.

The printed version of Lake Simcoe Living, with its wonderful stories and photos celebrating life at Lake Simcoe, will continue to be published. Lake Simcoe Living will still be the magazine you display on the coffee table of your Lake Simcoe watershed home or cottage. It will still be the magazine of choice when you want to enjoy a quiet time on the deck, the dock or the boat.

With this new website, Lake Simcoe Living also will be an Online Community, where Lake Simcoe friends and neighbours can find out about events around the Lake Simcoe community, share photos and stories, and watch videos about events across the Lake Simcoe watershed.

We invite you to take part in this Online Community that shares a special interest — the enjoyment and preservation of Lake Simcoe. Tell us what you think of our new website, let us know what else we can do that would serve Lake Simcoe's lake people!
