Celebration of the moon and Lake Simcoe
A gusty wind gradually blew away the clouds as hundreds of people walked a labyrinth, sang, danced and drummed to honour the moon and Lake Simcoe at Splash Festival's Moonapalooza, July 23, 2013, at Sibbald Point Park, Georgina. By the time the moon rose in the sky around 10 p.m., she shone bright and clear over the celebration.To hear some of the drumming, you can see a short video:
