Custom Comfort Celebrates 25 Years!
Family owned and operated, Custom Comfort Climatecare has been serving the Barrie and surrounding areas for 25 years. From furnaces and air conditioners to indoor air quality equipment, radon testing and remediation, geo-thermal and duct cleaning, Custom Comfort offers you peace of mind knowing that our home comfort products are backed by our ClimateCare 100% installation guarantee.
“When we first opened our doors in 1988 Barrie was at a population of about 70,000” recalls Custom Comfort Climatecare Co-Owner Bill Smith. “Our goal was to educate our customers so that they could make informed decisions when it comes to their heating and cooling equipment needs. Just as Barrie has grown, so have we. For more than 25 years, our customers have been receiving quality service and products and they will continue to do so as we continuously strive to find ways to save our customers money without compromising the comfort and safety of their families.”
In 1998, Custom Comfort joined the Climatecare Co-operative, a 100% Canadian, member-owned organization that is the largest of its kind in the country. Co-Owner Rod Mysko proudly stands by this decision; “By joining the Climatecare Co-operative, we were making the best choice for our technicians, our customers and our company as a whole. Our techs receive training and ongoing support that allow them to provide their customers with the best possible service. We are able to experience a cost savings with our co-operative marketing program and through the purchasing discounts we receive from leading manufacturer and wholesale partners. This results in the ability to pass these savings onto our customers.”
Another great way to save on costs as well as your environmental footprint is through regular maintenance. “Our Maintenance Plans can significantly prolong the life of your air conditioner and furnace and protect you from the costs associated with repairs. There are many benefits to our We Care Maintenance and Pro Plus Plans,” says Customer Service Representative Kelly Peckford. “Our monthly payment options make our plans easy to afford on any budget. Our plans are transferable should you sell your home which makes your home more marketable to potential buyers. I feel the biggest savings however is the complimentary Precision Tune Ups that come with each plan. The savings alone pays for the plan itself.”
For customers that are looking to purchase a new furnace or AC, Custom Comfort offers in home quotes that are complimentary and include a heat loss analysis. Financing options make new purchases affordable and convenient.
A strong member of the community, Custom Comfort is looking forward to continuing to support local organizations and events. “Much like our business, our community is our family. Whenever we can help out we can,” says Bill Smith. “Currently, we are planning for a 25th Anniversary Celebration in which we will be hosting an open house for all of our current and future customers. This will be a great opportunity to come down to our Patterson Road location and meet our friendly technicians and office staff who will be available to answer any questions you have when it comes to your heating and cooling needs. We will be having draws and offering special rates on some of our services as our way of saying thank-you for your support throughout the years. Our company wouldn’t be what it is today without you.”
