Innisfil, ON – Residents are invited to be part of the discussion about rural health issues, barriers to health care and how other communities have overcome them. The Rural Health Care Forum takes place on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers.
“Innisfil is a growing community with unique health care needs,” says Mayor Barb Baguley. “We welcome open dialogue with our residents to find ways to make our current system better.”
Presented by the Innisfil Community Health Committee (ICHC) and the Rotary Club of Innisfil, the forum features four expert panellists who will engage with residents to explore the challenges, opportunities ways to improve service in the area. All Provincial Party Candidates have been invited to provide policy statements on rural health.

Michelle Hunter, Chair, Rural Ontario Medical Programme
