"We recently saw that the NDP took the riding of Niagara Falls for the first time in a hotly contested by-election. I'm here to tell you it can be done in York-Simcoe as well," Laura Bowman says.
"Our team is gearing up for a possible spring election and we are taking the fight in York-Simcoe very seriously. We know that we can motivate people to get to the polls and support a New Democratic victory.
I've decided to take on the challenge of defeating the Conservatives in York-Simcoe and the Liberal minority in Ontario in the prime of my legal career because I care deeply about this riding. This is a crucial moment for the future of the riding. The needs of
residents must not continue to be neglected. There is simply too much at stake. Add your name to our team.
"Please get in touch with our campaign by responding to this email and let us know if you will volunteer. We need your strong support. I have helped out with two successful NDP campaigns in the past and I know that it takes dedicated volunteers to run a successful campaign.
"Time is running out to join or renew your membership.

"You can renew by phone if you call 1.866.390.6637 (ONDP).
"Make sure you attend the upcoming nomination meeting on April 7, in Bradford at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre - 125 Simcoe St., 7 p.m. so we can secure the nomination and show a strong base of support is behind us for a New Democratic victory in this riding.
