Some businesses are open, as allowed by the province, and would appreciate your business! Some are available by phone or online. And some have closed, trusting that they will have your support when they open again.
The novel coronavirus has resulted in a new and difficult business environment. Please support these Lake Simcoe-area businesses as they deal with the new reality in the best ways available to them.

When listing new properties, I practise social distancing protocols and have minimal physical contact with my sellers when listing their homes or cottages. I keep in touch by phone, email and texting. As for buyers who want to see properties, we get permission from the sellers first. Some sellers don’t want to show their homes right now and suggest looking at the virtual tours their agents have created for them instead. If a buyer is serious, he or she can put in an offer that is conditional upon seeing the property in person.
Other sellers who don’t mind showing their homes ask buyer agents to promise to use safe practices such as using hand sanitizers and sanitizing wipes before and after all showings. As an agent, I supervise the showings, practising social distancing of at least two metres.
For signing listings and offers, electronic signatures can be used via computer or mobile.
We recognize that the ever-changing COVID-19 situation has brought about an unprecedented time for our community. In cooperation with government requests and for the protection of our clients and staff, we have decided to close Knappett Jewellers until we receive notification from the Ontario government that it is safe to open.
Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Carefree Boat Club Lake Simcoe
This summer season may be different from any other, with health and safety concerns currently on the top of everyone's list. The reality is that many activities and other recreational venues may be put on hold, including travel. Carefree Boat Club Lake Simcoe is proud to offer a safe, cost effective, and ultimately fun and enjoyable experience in recreational boating. We have taken the steps to ensure safety and cleanliness is the upmost priority for all our members who wish to enjoy our activities, in a private and "social distancing" environment (if you choose to do so).
